Funding Solutions Deutschland operates as a governance and consolidation platform for the assumption of pension obligations in Germany. Our Governance Platform enables the complete and final release of pension obligations through the use of pensioner companies ("Rentnergesellschaften"). The assumption of heterogeneous, historically grown pension landscapes is therefore our daily business. Seamless integration into our existing workflows is of decisive importance for the efficiency of our platform. To manage complexity, the systematic analysis of transferred obligations, their inherent risks and the resulting processes is carried out first. This is followed by the optimisation of all workflows along the entire value chain.
For this purpose, we have built a highly specialised team of five senior experts with very different educational backgrounds and decades of experience in occupational pensions. In addition to the obligatory occupational pension expertise, such as in-depth knowledge of the various implementation methods and their administrative specifics, this includes many years of practical experience in senior positions at large corporations and consulting firms, as well as the requisite actuarial expertise.
As we were increasingly approached by companies for support in the administration of occupational pensions, we decided to offer the Funding Solutions Pension Office as a standalone service in the sense of an "outsourced occupational pension department." Since then, we have been supporting our clients with a highly customisable offering for pension administration. For various clients, we currently manage more than 12,000 pension beneficiaries with a DBO of over EUR 250 million. The challenge for our clients is generally not in the execution of individual processes, but in professionally designed, cost-efficient and legally compliant workflows across all internal company pension processes. For us, the holistic design and implementation of occupational pension processes is therefore paramount, whereby we distinguish up to eight modular components depending on the initial situation and objectives:
1. HR pension processes · 2. Finance pension processes · 3. Beneficiary communication · 4. Management reporting · 5. Unbiased provider management · 6. Investments and CTA administration · 7. Pension landscape analysis and optimisation · 8. Governance, process and cost optimisation
